Dan grew up on a farm in Minnesota, graduating college with degrees in animal science and electrical engineering.  Dan has a wide career in science and technology, including agricultural research, software development, and education.

 

His teachers always told him to become a writer throughout high school and college. Fast Forward a few years, well more than a few, and Dan still had that book-writing task on his bucket list.  The Shamalian Passage is the first of a series of science fiction books that will complete the bucket list and provide readers with a unique reading experience.

 

Dan lives in a small town in rural Colorado, accepting the challenge of growing vegetables in the hot and arid climate!
